A feather pillow does not get wet easily as feather has a natural tendency to repel water. Using a pillowcase is also important in order to take proper care of a feather pillow. It is better to buy a pillowcase with a zipper to protect the pillow from getting dirty. Do not forget that a feather pillow  attracts dust and microbes and can harm those affected by allergy.
